Marilyn Stowe

August 8, 1954 -May 15, 2020

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Stowe (nee Vincent) announce her passing on Friday, May 15th, 2020 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 65 years. Marilyn leaves behind her husband Rod; daughter April; two precious grandchildren Marley and Gabriel; her brother Cyril (Grace), sister-in-law Lucy Vincent; brother-in-law Calvin Stowe (Mabel), brother-in-law Carl Stowe (Bernice), sister-in-law Marilyn Butt (Byron), sisters-in-law Gloria Thomas, Rita Stowe; mother-in-law Eva Stowe Gillingham. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and cherished friends. She is predeceased by her parents Minnie and George Vincent; brother Glynn Vincent; brothers-in-law Donald, Tony Stowe and Lowell Thomas. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care staff for their care and compassion. Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue from 7-9 pm to a maximum of 20 people at a time to maintain physical distancing in compliance with government Covid-19 regulations, masks are required.  Interment service will be held at Mt. Patricia Cemetery Saturday, May 15th at 11:00 am with Reverend Deacon Cynthia Haines-Turner officaiting. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital www.janewayfoundation.nf.ca
