The children of Mr. Kevin Morris are devastated to announce his passing on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the age of 91. Kevin was a loving, kind, gentle man who adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His favourite place was always the family home eating Sunday dinner and surrounded by beautiful memories of where he and his wife, Vera, raised 9 beautiful children. Kevin was also a proud military man having served in the military during the Korean War. He was a long-standing member of the Legion and served passionately with the Cadets for many years. Kevin will be forever remembered by his nine children: Marilyn (Kenny) Gillam, Calvin (Patricia) Morris, Lloyd (Beverly) Morris, Paul Morris, Jed (Marianne) Morris, Boyd (Natasha) Morris, Naomi Morris, Melanie (Jason) Jenkins, Colin (Dana) Morris; grandchildren: Denise, Michael, Jason, Trudy, Janine, Colin, Tanya, Kimberley, Patrick, John-Paul, Elizabeth, Kendra, Amanda, McKenna, Cailean, Owen; many great- grandchildren; sisters: Gwen (Walter) Gosse, Albertha (Sidney)Morris, Sylvia (David) Chaffey; brothers: David (Betty) Morris, Roy (Margaret) Morris and a large extended family of in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. Kevin was predeceased by his wife Vera; brothers: Delwin, Fred: sisters Dina and Anita.
The family sends thanks to all the nurses, doctors, and staff at Crosswinds for his care.
Kevin wanted those who attended his funeral to wear a poppy. In light of social distancing measures, we ask you to wear a poppy in his honour and think fondly of the wonderful man that he was. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church Fund.
