MURIEL MAE REID (nee Ford) Jackson’s Arm, NL April 7th, 1927 - March 24th, 2009 Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family, Muriel Mae Reid (nee Ford) at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 in her 81st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joyce (Allan) Osmond, Jackson’s Arm, Doreen Reid, Jackson’s Arm, Gary (Vivian) Reid, Jackson’s Arm, Tony (Carmelita) Reid, St. John’s, Brian (Diane) Reid, Jackson’s Arm and Debbie (Roger) House, Jackson’s Arm; 18 grandchildren: Rennie, Teena, Shelley, Kirby, Peter, Trevor, David, Tony, Nancy, Danny, Jaime, Jessica, Jeanine, Jackie, Jasmine, Jonathan, Andy and Wendy, her 9 great-grandchildren: Bradley, Mandy, Michale, Brandon, Jordan, Autumn, Carter, Willow and Rebecca, her sister Shirley (Bill) Dyke, brothers: Donald (Joan) Ford and Arthur (Mariah) Ford, brother-in-law Willis Harnett, sisters-in-law: Nellie Downton and Trudy Roberts. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her extended family. Mae was predeceased by her husband Randolph, father Thomas Ford, mother Elsie Ford, sisters Edna Harnett, Claudine Osmond, Florence, Beatrice and Joyce Ford, brothers Eugene and Leslie Ford and brother-in-law Enerchius Osmond. Friends may visit St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Jackson’s Arm on Wednesday and Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, March 27th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Jackson’s Arm. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
