Ramona Violet Joseph March 21, 1935 – May 18, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of Ramona Joseph of Corner Brook, NL announce her passing on May 18, 2020. Mona was born in Howley but lived the majority of her life in Corner Brook. Mona is survived by her two sons: Brian and Gerald (Shirley); two grandchildren: Scott and Andrew (Loriann) and her great-granddaughter, Vivianne. All of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley Fudge and Muriel Hinkle (Robert). Mona was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Leo Joseph, her brother Max Reid (Shirley), brother-in-law Raymond (Jack) Fudge, sister Doris Reid and her parents Edward and Beatrice Reid. She also leaves behind a wide variety of friends and relatives whom she cherished over the years. Mona was always quite active over a number of years and was involved in skiing, walking, camping, swimming, travel and hiking. She loved nothing more to have fun with family and friends and shared good times with music and dance. Prior to retiring, she worked for Steers Wholesalers and before that Hann Brothers for several years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Homes and due to the restrictions in place at this time, a celebration of Mona’s life will be held at a later date. She will be forever remembered and forever missed.
