Duane Edward Doupe Corner Brook, NL March 28, 1961 – June 9, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Duane Doupe announce his passing on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Health, at the age of 59 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 32 years, Marina; daughters, Marissa and Kearston; sister Carmel (Heber); brothers: John, Bill (Cheryl) and Kelly (Stephanie); mother and father-in-law; Raymond and Leona Simon; brothers and sisters-in-law; Stephen (Sandra), Leon (Marion), Alvin (Darlene), Sharon (Brian), Hughie (Victoria) and Tina (Sean); special neighbor and friend, Brittany Speed; and beloved family pet cat, Gracie; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Agnes Doupe; sister-in-law Paula and brother-in-law Melvin Rouzes. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the Palliative Care Unit and at Western Memorial Hospital, as well as to the Pasadena Lions and Leo’s Club for the ongoing love and support. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Cremation with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled for a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the family or to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
