(Joan) Bride Viola Curlew (nee Pynn) Deer Lake, NL March 10, 1925 – June 12, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late (Joan) Bride Viola Curlew announce her passing on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Deer Lake Manor at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Ross (Joy), Carl (Edna), Jean (Leslie) Janes and Cyril (Dolores); grandchildren: Kenneth (Wendy), Carol, Mark, Jason (Dana), Brock (Jessica), Jeremy (Shannon), Joshua (Mallory), Jeanna (Mark), Justin (Amanda), Amanda, Jordan and Austin; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, son Lloyd, parents Frank and Dulcie Pynn, brothers Gerald and Cyril, sisters Josephine, Ivy, Jean and Joyce. Due to Covid-19 Government restrictions a private family viewing will take place. A private family funeral service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Sunday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Deer Lake.
