It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Ross Joseph Bennett announce his passing on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 70 years. He will be forever loved and missed by his son Darren (Princie); girlfriend Ruby Williams; brothers & sisters: Denise Young, Dale Colson, Bruce (Gloria) Bennett, Leslie (Kelly) Bennett, Randy Bennett, Christine (Ed) MacDonald, Rosalie White, Norma (Ricky) McGoldrick, Paul (Darryl) Bennett; sister-in-law Mary Bennett as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents Clifford Sr. & Angela Bennett; brother Clifford Bennett Jr. and brother-in-law Clarence Young. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held for the family at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s, NL with Father Kris Mekala officiating. Inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
