Aaron Russell Edgecombe Corner Brook, NL December 9, 1935 – June 23, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aaron Russell Edgecombe announce his passing on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at his residence in Corner Brook at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters: Rose Edgecombe, Port Union, Mary Wiseman, Springdale and Elizabeth (Wincel) Oxford, Springdale; special friends Selby Janes, Elizabeth Thomey, Maude Dormody, Glennis Bass, Rev. Amanda Barnes-Butt and Rev. Emma Welsh-O'Rouke; as well as other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his spouse Lorraine Penney, parents Isaac and Mary Edgecombe and brother-in-law Gerald Wiseman. Due to Covid-19 Governments restrictions a private family viewing will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. A private family funeral will take place on Friday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. A special mention to Honorary Pallbearers who could not be here for the funeral service Fred Lodge, Norman Hounsell and Bill Tulk. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
