Stephen Elwin Clarke November 7, 1925 - July 1, 2020 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stephen "Steve" Elwin Clarke announce his passing on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at the Corner Brook Long Term at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, son Chesley and his wife Catherine, grandson Mark Clarke, Saskatoon, SK, Great granddaughter Sadie Catherine Clarke, Saskatoon, SK, brothers: Jerry CLarke (Vicki) and Donald Clarke (Lillian); Corner Brook, sister, Katherine Haldane, Barry, ON, sisters-in-law: Betty Pye (Irvine), Corner Brook and Margaret Hynes (Edward), Paradise; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Mabel (nee Vokey), April 1, 2020; parents William and Elsie Clarke; brothers: Gordon, Bernard, Melvin, Hayward, Garland and Harry; sisters Lorraine Brown, Marie Samms and Ruby Wiseman. We will celebrate the lives of Stephen and Mabel with a service at Fillatre's Funeral Home chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery with Archbishop Stewart Payne and Reverend Deacon Cynthia Haines-Turner officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
