Allister King
May 1, 1950 – July 1, 2020
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Allister King on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Western Regional Hospital, Corner Brook in his 70th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 47 years Joan; daughter Sherry Flynn (Frank); 2 precious granddaughters Emma & Megan; mother Margaret King; brothers Ed (Helen), Doug (Sharon), Dave; sister Peggy Froude (Carl); sisters-in-law Gloria & Jocelyn; brother-in-law Jim (Gert); special friends Lee & Margaret Russell as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Wylie, brother Bill; mother & father-in-law Cornelius & Eileen McCarthy. Due to Covid-19 Government restrictions a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Hallows Church, Humber road with Father Edward Terry officiating, followed by interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Janeway Children’s Hospital or Children’s Wish Foundation.
