ELLA OSBOURNE Codroy, NL Oct 22, 1926 - Mar 30, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella Osbourne announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Ella was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Carter. Also predeceased by her husband William Seward Osbourne; brothers: Fredrick and William Carter. Leaving to mourn her daughter Doreen; son-in-law David; grandchildren: Anthony, Amanda (Emanuel), Adam, Christina, Damien (Rachel); great-grandchildren: Haylie, Kyle and Trinity, all residing in Toronto, ON; five sisters: Dorothy Confiant (Thomas) of North Sydney, Kay Samms (late Howard Samms), Vera Harding (Thomas), Greta Collier (Ernest), Carol Farrell (Howard), all of Codroy; loving sister-in-law Florence Carter of Port Aux Basques, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy on Monday 7-9 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 2nd at 10:30 am, Reverend Peter Boote officiating. Interment will directly follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook on Thursday afternoon.
