It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jerry D. Alley of Robinsons. Jerry passed peacefully on July 17,2020 at the age of 77, at Charles Legrow Health Centre in Port aux Basque, in the presence of loved ones, after a battle with cancer. He was the loved son of Edward and Hilda Alley (Deceased), Brother of Terry (deceased), Martin (Glenys) and Ron (Brenda). Special uncle to Loretta, Stephen, Murray, Jeffrey, and Gloria, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jerry took pleasure in the simple things in life and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the staff at Charles Legrow as well as staff at Oceanside Home in Codroy Valley for the care and comfort shown Jerry. A private viewing will take place on Monday July 20, 2020. Funeral service will take place on July 21,2020 at St. Georges Cemetery in Robinsons, Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The St. Georges Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Fillatre's Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing NL.
