Ronald Joseph Walsh September 23, 1935 - July 25, 2020 It is with a heavy heart that Ron’s family announce his passing on Saturday, July 25, 2020. In his eternal life, Ron will be happily reunited with his darling wife Rella (Roberts), the love of his life. Ron was a beloved father to Kelly (late Anglican Bishop-elect John Meade), a devoted daughter and caregiver, and to son, Andrew (Shelagh); loving poppy to Sierra, Savanna and Seamus. Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his siblings: Gerald (Cora), Francis (late Geraldine), Ted, Margaret McCormack (Tom); brother-in-law George Mugford (late Mary); aunt Mollie Fitzpatrick; brothers-in-law, Calvin Roberts (late Alma), Bob (Doreen), Clarence (Lisa), Malcolm (late Mona), Ray (Paulette); sisters-in-law: Olive Payne (Harold), Mona Payne (Curt) and Marilyn Roberts; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ron was predeceased by his parents Edmund Walsh and Rita Foley, stepfather Michael Foley, siblings Jim (late Rosaleen), Ed (late Marie), Joe (late Sheila) and Mary Mugford, parents-in-law Reginald and Hilda Roberts, sister-in-law Dorothy Roberts (late Bud). There will be a service of Christian burial at the Anglican cemetery in Sally’s Cove on Monday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Canon Terry Rose officiating.
