Penny Park Rowsell 1968 – 2020 Penny Park Rowsell was called home to glory on August 6, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Todd and sons Donny (Erin), Paul (Cheyenne) and Todd. She was the beloved and cherished grandmother of Liam, Noah and Riddick. Penny was also the cherished daughter of Daphne Park Murphy (Frank) and the late Chanie Park. She was daughter-in-law to Ron and Pauline Rowsell and sister-in-law to Ron (Sherri) and Lillian Gillard. Penny is survived by siblings Roxie (Wally) Savile, Michael (Lynn), Glenn, Terry (Lori), and Russell (Jennifer). She was step-sister to Mark, Carolann (Reg) and Shawn (Angie). Penny will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be remembered for her love of baking and her passion for writing. We would like to thank the doctors and staff of the University of Alberta and special thanks to nurse Ginger for her compassion to our family during Penny’s illness. Due to COVID, a private family celebration of life will be held by families in Edmonton and New Brunswick.
