Myrtle Randell July 29, 1933 – September 14, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Randell (nee Pollard) announce her passing at the Calder Health Care Centre on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 87 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her son John (Ethel); daughter Kimberly (Glenn); grandsons: Sheldon (Roxanne), Corey (Angela) and Jamie (Candy); granddaughter Kerri (Grant); as well as her four special great-grandchildren: Mason, Rio, Jeremy and Sailor. Myrtle also leaves to mourn her brothers: Hayward (Joan), Alwin (Faye) and Rick (Druc); sisters: Evelyn (Elias), Yvonne (Fred), Irene and Joan; sister-in-law Joy; along with a large circle of other relatives, in-laws, family and dear friends. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Jeremiah, parents Alfred and Bessie Pollard, brother Wilmore, sisters Sadie, Edith, Fannie as well many other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly. Myrtle will be forever remembered for her kindness and giving – whether it be a pair of her perfectly knitted socks or a roof over your head and a cup of tea. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, September 16 from 7-9 p.m. at Faith United Church followed by the funeral service on Thursday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harry Oake officiating. Interment will take place at the Burgeo Community Cemetery on Friday, September 18. All of this will be done by allowable Covid-19 regulations.
