Margaret Marie Kennedy (nee Brake) Irishtown, NL May 1, 1946 – September 26, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Marie Kennedy announce her passing on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Martin Kennedy; children: Debbie Horniblow (Dennis), Robert Kennedy (Karen) and Elizabeth Blanchard (Brad); grandchildren: Eric and Ryan Horniblow, Laura Francis (Jordan), Lucas Kennedy (Kristen) and James Blanchard; great-granddaughter Lilly Francis; brothers and sisters: Kevin Brake, Maryanne Brake, Bruce Brake and Pauline Gillingham (Austin); sister-in-law Peggy Brake; special nieces: Andrea Morgan and Laura Loder; special aunt Ula Payne and family; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Bruce and Laura Brake, parents-in-law Frank and Dorothy Kennedy, sister Theresa Whitehorne, brothers Joseph and Robert Brake. A private family viewing will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 3 at from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating, with a maximum capacity of 50 people. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit.
