Muriel Sadie Pilgrim (nee Penney) Roddickton, NL October 24, 1942 – September 29, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Muriel Sadie Pilgrim announce her passing on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Craig (Wendy) Pilgrim, Carolyn (Leaton) Compton, Peter Pilgrim and Karla (Amanda) Pilgrim; grandchildren: Luke, Jill, Andrew, Aaron, Alex, Sheleigh, Lucas and Elliot; sisters and brothers: Florence Payne, Gilbert (Gleason) Penney, Albert (Margaret) Penney, Laura Butler (Gord) and Dennis (Jose) Penney; sisters and brother-in-law: Grace Brophy, Earl Pilgrim, Iris Fillier (Alvone), Ramona (Ivan) Manuel and Eileen Canning; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Pilgrim, parents Maxwell and Harriett Penney, parents-in-law Norman Pilgrim and Winnifred Canning, step-father-in-law Tobias Canning and brother-in-law Junior Canning. A private family viewing will be held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton Thursday Evening. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. from the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton for Immediate family with Rev. Christopher Hewlett and Rev. Rene Canning officiating. Interment to follow at the Apostolic Faith Cemetery.
