Even though the verbal acknowledgement of love was rarly expressed between us it was never needed. Her devotion to her children stood above all proving not saying her love for us was unbreakable. Comming from giving up the last portion of food to one of her children because they were still hungry and going without herself, to defending us from bullies, she never wavered. A great woman who led a hard thankless life taking care of 2 households and trying to ensure her children collected the right values.
She endured many hardships trying to provide us with all we needed, doing so with a very limited budget, ensuring we were properly clothed for school , fed and were provided with many wonderfull gifts during special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas. How she managed will forever be her secret. We had no running water in our household so she would haul water from grandmothers house in summer and from the well in the winter untill we were old and big enough to help. As she held dearly to our wellbeing I now hold on to her memory and surly pray that I can become half the person she was in life. Until we meet again in our fathers house I shall miss you and forever love you
