It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elvie Victoria Park announce her passing on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 91 years, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Alma (Fred) Lewis, Calvin (Linda) Park, Ivan (Marion) Park, Marion (Dawson) Pitcher, Janie (Warren) Lovell, Beatrice (Scott) French, Bryant Park (Angela Bryne) and Philip (Stephanie) Park; grandchildren: Robert, Karen, Ronnie, Noreen, Joanne, Jill, Jamie, Jonathan, Glynis, Marty, Mitchell, Sonya, Brenda, Justin, Victoria, Rebecca, Brian, Patricia, Shenise, Amy, Gavin and Sebastian; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Cotie Park; sisters-in-law: Marjorie Park, Lois Park and Wilma Park; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Sherbert Park, parents William and Dulcie Park, sisters Mariah (Jackie) Park and Kathleen (Wilfred) House, brother Thomas Park, parents-in-law Philip and Lucy Park, brothers and sister-in-law George Park, Lindburgh Park, Henry Park, Kenneth Park, Louisa Park and Austin Park. A private family viewing will be held at the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers from where a private family funeral will take place on Friday, October 30 with Rev. Kay Osmond officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, McIvers. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Epiphany Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
