Hazel (Baikie) McLean, Jan. 28, 1928-Oct. 29, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel McLean announce her peaceful passing away at the Long Term Care Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn her son, Dean, his wife, Shirley and her beloved granddaughter Olivia, as well as her brother, Hector (Edith), nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence and sons Clarence Jr. and Lester, as well as her parents, Donald and Naomi Baikie, and siblings, Silas, Gillard, Phyllis and Sibyl. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, November 3 at the United Church in North West River, by invitation only due to Covid regulations, officiated by Rev. Wayne Blackwood. Interment will follow at North West River cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the United Church in North West River. Many thanks to the staff at the Long Term Care Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
