Benjamin Arthur Butt December 16, 1951 – November 2, 2020 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ben Butt announces his sudden passing at his residence on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with very special memories, his wife, Geraldine; Children: Natalie (Craig) Gibson, Kimberly Butt (Mike Ensinger) and Colleen Butt (Special Friend Darrell Wight) ; Grandchildren: Christopher, Catelyn (Shelby), Maddy, Dakota, Josh, Emma, Bella, Alexa, Zacc, Lucas, Jordan and Taya, Jamie and Jayson; Great Grandchildren: Athren, Levi, and Avery; Brothers: Sean (Jackie) Butt, Paul (Mary) Butt; Sisters: Paulette (Dan) Pike, Holly (Peter) Campbell; Special Cousin: Glenn Butt, Special Friends Dave MacDonald and Audrey Bennett ; sisters-in-law Linda Butt and Carolyn Welshman; his fur babies Cinders and Dolly; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ben is predeceased by his parents: Marjorie and Les Butt, Brothers: Brian, Randy and Leslie. Grandparents: Timothy and Helena Walsh, Arthur and Jane Butt and father and mother-in-law Jim and Melinda Carter. Due to COVID 19 Government Restrictions, there will be a private family viewing from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service on Friday, November 6th at Fillatre’s’ Chapel. Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Following the funeral service, granting his wishes, cremation will take place. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association or the charity of one’s choice.
