It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of James O’Brien on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Unit in his 62nd year. He leaves to mourn his daughter Christina and her mom Lisa; mother Valerie, sisters and brothers: Donna & Pete, Paul & Myra, Eddy & Tracey, Bill & Toni, Kim & Rodger, Sandra & Derek, Carol Ann, Colleen & Rick; special friends Linda Fitzpatrick, Fred Jones & Gord Kennedy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Jim O’Brien in 1996. Due to Covid - 19 Government Regulations a private memorial visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home and a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Friday November 6, 2020. Very special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Palliative Care and the Cancer Clinic for your outstanding care. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the O’Brien Family on Friday, November 6th at the Press Club 18 Union Street from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm to a maximum of 50 at a time, in compliance with Covid-19 Government Regulations. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca
