William Patey January 29, 1943 – November 17, 2020 It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Patey announce his passing on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Alicia; brothers: Stedman (Leah) and Garland; Godchild: Rochelle Rumbolt; sisters-in-law: Marie (Don), Lola, Clara, Mary (Hughie), Annie and Ellen (Darius); brothers-in-law: Alfred, Anthony (Winnie) and Ben (Sharon); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was Predeceased by mother Ruth, father William, brothers, Freeman, Garland, Sherlock, Gerald, Melvin (Beatrice) and Clyde, sister Shirley (Stanley), father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Mary Ann Tatchell, brother-in-law, Thomas and sister-in-law Helena. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Port Saunders with Deacon Marie Smith officiating, following specific guidelines related to the Covid 19 associated restrictions. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
