MARY EDNA BURDEN (nee McKenzie) March 21st 1918 – April 25th 2009 Shoal Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Burden announce her passing on Saturday, April 25th 2009, at the Interfaith Home in Corner Brook, at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Helena (Walter) Cull; Botwood, Edwin (Lily) Burden; Corner Brook, Blanche (Everett) Osmond; Woody Point, David (June) Burden; Cormack, Frances (Robert) Daniele; Mississauga, ON, Lorna (Rendell) Roberts, Granby, P.Q, Sue (Jack) Parsons; Woody Point, Wayne (Marina) Burden, Caledon, ON, Melvin (Mildred) Burden); Grand Prairie, AB, Roger (Pauline) Burden; Corner Brook, 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and special friend Ella Moores, as well as a large circle of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Hector Burden, Daughter Brenda, Grandsons Ronald Cull, Kevin Osmond and Stacey Burden. Friends may visit Shoal Brook United Church on Tuesday April 28th from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 29th at 2 PM with Rev. Beverly Snow officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Shoal Brook United Church Fund.
