INA Mary KENNEDY CORNER BROOK, NL Passed peacefully away on Sunday, April 26th, 2009 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Ina Kennedy, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family that meant the world to her; nine children: Lorraine (Brian) Packwood, Sean (Suzanne), Carolyn (Garland) Oram, Elaine (Darrell) Layden, Kim (Rod) Sheppard, Janice (Jeff) Humber, Jamie (Natalee Glover), Mark (Juanita Brake and James), Alison (Steve) Hurley; grandchildren: Kelly, Jennifer, Matthew, Rebecca, Kevin, David, Justin, Ryan, Olivia, Jayme, Jacob and Joshua; one great grandchild: Renee; sister: Shirley Goosney; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon A. Kennedy, January 7, 2007; father, Gordon Young; mother, May Young; brothers: Clarence and Ralph; sister: Evelyn Kennedy and son, Ralph. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, at 10:30 A.M. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Father Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made Daffodil Place or to Community Health Western.
