Obituary of Lily Buckle It is with sadness that the family of the late Lily Buckle announce her passing Friday, December 4th, 2020, at her home in Forteau, Labrador, at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Jack, children: Patsy (Rodney), Lorraine (Myles), Colleen (Greg), Elva (Shawn), Sheldon (Lisa); Grandchildren: Aaron (Genna), Megan (Andrew), Murray (Michelle), Adam (Billie), Scott, Rebecca, Rachael, Sophia and great grandchild Tanner, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Effie Fowler and sister Alice Normore. The family would like to send a special thank-you to family and friends that helped in any way during moms brief but courageous battle with cancer. She enjoyed family gatherings and was at her happiest when everyone was seated around the kitchen table. The family will be having a private funeral service at St. Peters Anglican Church on Sunday, December 6th, at 2pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forteau, Labrador. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ACW, Forteau. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
