James Henry Wilcott December 11, 1934 – December 21, 2020 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late James (Jim) Wilcott announce his passing on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 64 years, Sarah; sons: Gary (Paulette), Pasadena, Tony (Donna), Edmonton, AB and Wayne, Corner Brook; one daughter, Linda Friginette (Damian), Fort Saskatchewan, AB; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Denise and Stephen Wilcott, Erin and Jocelyn Wilcott, Sarah and Nicholas Anstey; five great grandchildren: Maggie and Abbey, Isaac, Brook and Tyce; brothers: Harry and Anthony Wilcott; sister Mary Hoddinott (Morrison); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his grandson Brian, parents Reginald and Lillian Wilcott, Brothers Basil, Julian and Gordon; and Sisters Joan, Katie, Iris and Rita. A private family visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will take place from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Thursday, December 24th at 2:00 P.M. to a maximum of 100 people in compliance with Covid 19 Government Restrictions. Father Lee Lainey and Father Ed Terry officiating. Cremation to follow with burial at a later date.
