MAE EDITH BURT Corner Brook, NL February 28th, 1936 - April 29th, 2009 						 Passed away Peacefully with her family by her side Mae Edith Burt at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 at the age of 73 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 48 years Wallace Burt, son Dion (Antonella) Burt, Caledon, Ont; daughters: Tara (Darrell) Marche, Meadows and Nadia (Wayne) Simmons, Little Rapids, her treasured grandchildren: Linda, Matthew, Brittany, Garrett, Christopher and Amy, sisters and brothers: Effie Ward, Ben (Maudie) Knee, Doug (Donna) Knee, Beatrice (Winston) Burt, Jean (Frank) Pilgrim, Wilfred (Peggy) Knee, Frank (Joan) Knee, Audrey (Ray) Rowe, Dorothy (Aubrey) Budgell and Doreen (Max) Sturge, brothers and sisters-in-law: George Shirran, Breta (Bill) Saunders, Hilda (Austin) Taylor, Winston (Beatrice) Burt, Graham Burt, Gloria (Morgan) Burt, Pansy (Andrew) Attwater, Daisy (Norm) Boone, Junior (Betty) Burt and Bob Parsons. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Janie Knee, sisters Ena Shirran and Pearl West, brother Robert Knee, parents-in-law Sidney and Susanna Burt, sisters-in-law Unice Parsons and Linda Burt, brothers-in-law Harold Ward and Herbert West. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 7-9 pm and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Premier Drive. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the YP Corp Salvation Army Citadel, Corner Brook. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
