It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lionel Marcus Park announce his passing on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Western Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 54 years Hattie (nee Parsons); children: Derek (Brenda), Craig and Krista Park-Stepaniuk (Dwayne); grandchildren: Emily, Arielle, Kyla and Cole; great-granddaughter Reed; brother Alfred (Lorraine); sister Mona (Marvin) Olford; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Mabel, sisters Susie and Helen. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Reverend Deacon Terrance Coates officiating. Interment to follow at St. David of Wales Anglican Cemetery, Pasadena. A reception will follow the burial service at Pineridge Cabins and Campground in Pasadena.
