Avis Elsie (Lethbridge) Kremer, 88, of Manchester, Connecticut, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, Connecticut. Born in Paradise, Labrador, Canada, the daughter of the late Philip and Eliza (Pardy) Lethbridge and the youngest of their children. She grew up and lived in Happy Valley – Goose Bay, Labrador before moving to the United States in 1955. She lived in Arizona, New Jersey, and Massachusetts before moving to Connecticut three years ago to be closer to family. Avis worked for the U. S. Army as a civil servant for over 35 years before her retirement in 1995. Avis enjoyed traveling and she always looked forward to her trips back home to Labrador to visit her family. She loved animals of all types, especially dogs. She is survived by her daughter, Deb Ehman of Connecticut; granddaughter, Traci Carpenter and her husband Tim of Rhode Island; two great grandchildren, Autumn and Willem Ehman of Connecticut, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family in Goose Bay.
