He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years Maude (nee Gale); children: Peter (Linda), Kevin (Barbara), Marlene (Ronald) Deveaux, Donna (Michael) Ruth and Donald (Jacquie); Grandchildren: Andrea (Gary), Ryan, Dylan, Charles, Brittany and Jared; great-grandchildren: Rachel, Kate and gage; brothers: Leander (Agnes) and Kenneth (Olive); sister-in-law Edna; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Pheobe, sister Elizabeth and brother Eli. Friends may visit Church of the Transfiguration, Sop’s Arm on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Torraville officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Sop’s Arm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake.
