David Garland Griffin July 24, 1961 – January 8, 2021 Passed away peacefully and will be forever in the hearts of his loving wife Jill; son Ian (Susan); daughter Laura (Cory and son Dawson); precious granddaughter Joanna, by his mother Juanita and brother Eddie. He was predeceased by his father Edward. Dave touched the lives of many other relatives and friends throughout the years and will be remembered for his optimism and determination. His zest for life was most apparent when enjoying time at his cabin at Bonne Bay Pond with friends, food, drink and music. He reveled in being on the open road riding his motorcycle and will now ride forever free. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr Lafferty, Dr. Amanda Walsh, Dr. Whitten, and all the other doctors, nurses, and medical staff who have cared for him over the years. Also, many thanks to the close friends, too many to count, who have given so much support during Dave’s journey. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
