Gorman Xavier Green August 10, 1934 - January 12, 2021 Benoits Cove, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gorman Green announce his passing at his residence on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Corrie (Nancy), Martenia, Roxann (Jamie), Caroline (Stephen), Ramona and step-daughter Olive; special grandchildren: Kaden, Chase, Breanna, Lauren, Joshua, Cindy, Heather, Sheena, Stacy-Lee, Margaret ,Jonathan and Dorian; great grandchildren: Logan, Ryan, Freya, Lily, Liam, Tanner, Cylus, Lincoln ,Bradley, Emily and Jordan; brothers: Austin, Ernie and Nelson; sister Bernadette; as well as nieces, nephews, special cabin buddies, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his wife Bernice, son Roderick, parents Ernest and Margaret, brothers Howard, Charlie, Jared, Arthur, Aloysius and Godrey; sisters Jean, Margaret, Yvonne, Anastasia and Adella. Following COVID 19 Government restrictions, there will be a private family visitation on Thursday from Fillatre's Funeral Home, Curling followed by a private Funeral Service on Friday, January 15th from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Benoits Cove with interment to follow at the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
