March 29, 1941 – January 13, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Georgette Mistenapeo announce her passing on January 13, 2021 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 79 years. She will be sadly missed by her Children; Mary Theresa Piwas, Sarah Rich, William Mistenapeo, Nora Pasteen; Grandchildren, Alberta Toma, Mary Georgette Mistenapeo, Bruce Piwas, Anne Asta, Mary Adele Mistenapeo; Brother, Simon Noah; Sister, Julianna Saunders; Adopted Children, Alberta Toma, Mary Georgette Mistenapeo, Bruce Piwas, Natasha Mistenapeo, Mary Adele Mistenapeo, Adam Mistenapeo, Shayla Aster, Anne Philomena Aster, Roderick Tshakupesh, Stephanie Rich, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by; Thomas Noah (Father), Alice Noah (Mother), Uspuakanish Noah (Brother), Mary Adele Rich (Sister); Children Sam Mistenapeo, Yvonne Asta, Eric Mistenapeo, Anne Stella Mistenapeo. Due to COVID-19 Government Restrictions there will be a private family visitation at Fillatres Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay followed by a service at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Nataushish, Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11 am with interment to follow at the St. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery, Nataushish.
