Mom passed peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. With open arms she was greeted by her husband Wallace and daughter Ina (Butler) Saunders, her parents William Paul and Charlotte (Paul) Allen; her brothers Harvey Paul, Lewis (Bride) Paul, Burt (Kitty) Paul, Frank Paul and twin brothers John and Clarence Paul.
She leaves to mourn her reason for living,: sons Harvey (Gail) Butler, Gary (Elaine) Butler and daughter Yvette (Stephen) Ransier; grandchildren: Tara Butler (Dion Coish), Erin Butler (Darryl Thompson), Cory Saunders (Lindsey), Craig (Kelly) Saunders, Shelley Saunders (Andy Noble), Jennifer (Corey) Wight, Jayme Lee Butler, Shawn (Claire) Rideout, Jeffrey Rideout (Jenna Murphy); as well great grandchildren: Meghan and Norah Coish, Xavier and Rogue Saunders, Addison and Ethan, Jack and Luke Saunders, Evelyn and Archer Wight, Kian Butler and Sloane Rideout. Also Sister Alice (Paul) Jorden and sister-in-law Regina Paul, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by brother-in-law Burt Jordan and step father Alex Allen; father and mother-in-law Leslie and Grace Butler, brothers-in-law John (Lenora) Butler, Ted (Lillian) Butler, Llewelyn Butler, John, known to the family as Jack (Neta) Butler, sister-in-law Barbara (Lew) Gilbert;
Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. In keeping with Covid 19 Government Regulations, there will be a private family funeral service on Monday, January 18th from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue with Rev. David Russell officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
