Pearl Vera Rose (nee Oxford) Corner Brook, NL December 2, 1926 – January 17, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pearl Vera (Oxford) Rose announce her passing on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 94 years. leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Corilee (Rod) Dwyer, Joy (John) Nichols, Jill (Gord) Pike and Robert (Tracy) Rose; daughter-in-law Barbara Rose; grandchildren: Dean and Douglas Dwyer, Ryan Nichols, Meghan (Nichols) Joudrey, Sarah, Nathan and Heather Pike, Bailey and Adam Rose; great-grandchildren: Lindsi George, Aaron Dwyer, Naya and Tayla Nichols, Hayden, Carson and Sam Dwyer, Nolan, Max and Jack Joudrey; sister Marion Binder; sisters-in-law Mable Oxford and Marie Oxford; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pearl is predeceased by her husband George (2013), sons Norval (1961) and Dennis (2004), infant grandson Jack Rose, parents Marion and Abram-John Oxford, parents-in-law Walter and Lily Rose, brothers and sisters-in-law Edison (Masie) Oxford, Basil (Masie) Oxford, Roy (Katie) Oxford, Leslie Oxford and Norval Oxford, sisters and brothers-in-law Millicent (George) Burry, Joyce (George) Rowsell, Irene (Royd) Hann and Bill Binder. Cremation has taken place, a private family interment to take at Townsite Cemetery on Wednesday, January 20 with The Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating.
