Kathleen Myers (nee Hynes) August 26, 1944 – February 1, 2021 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very special woman Kathleen Myers. Kathleen was born to Catherine and John Hynes in New Ferrolle on August 26, 1944. She lived most of her life in Port au Choix. Kathleen was a very quiet woman with a heart of gold. She worked on the fish plant along side of her husband for 46 years. She loved outdoor activities and spending time at the cabin. Kathleen is predeceased by her parents Catherine and John Hynes, brothers Ambrose, Danny and Seymour, sisters Becky, Mary-ann and Susie and her son Bobby. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Calvin Myers; daughter Norma; sons: Med (Sharon) and Claude (Rosann); 4 grandchildren: Stacey (Jamie), Joshua, Jade and Erin; siblings: John (Joyce), Doreen (Hen), Willis (Laverne), Joseph (Eliza), Raymond (Irene), Marilyn (Edward), Amy (Lou) and Iona; special niece Shannon (Mark) and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. A private visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, February 5 at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church Father Raj officiating with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
