James William Brown Corner Brook, NL December 20, 1925 – February 6, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of the late James William Brown announce his passing on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Wayne (Rosemary) Brown, Wanda (Don) Bick and Craig (Kris) Brown; grandchildren: Robyn (Mark), Carol (Chris), Leigh, Jimmy and Jeremy; great-grandchildren: Jared, Logan, Mason, Chloe, Nicholas and Berlynn; sisters-in-law Joan Brown and Olive Elkins and the Vardy family; well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Dulcie Brown, parents Moses and Elsie Brown, brothers Eric and Weldon, sister Florence. A private family visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. A private interment service was held on Saturday, February 13 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with the Rev. Canon Paulette Bugden officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
