Shirley Maude Marsh Heatherton, NL Mar. 24, 1939 – Feb. 8, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Shirley Marsh announce her sudden passing on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 81 years. She will be forever missed and loved by her children; Bruce Gale, Darlene (Rick) Reade, Christine (Rick) Janes and Edward Gale. Her Grandchildren; Stephen Pollack, Leah, Daniel and Michael Gale as well as her Great Grand daughter Julia Gale. Her loving partner Philip Halbot, her sisters Isabelle, Annie and Angela, her brother Clarence, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her Parents Maude and Albert Short. Shirley was well known in the community as a kind worker bee. She was a cook by trade, but was involved in her church as a Decan and in the ladies Auxiliary and helped many people with different things. She will be missed by the whole community. No Visitation will be held due to Covid restrictions. Interment Service only will be held at the Heatherton United Cemetery on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at 2:00 pm by Rev. Bruce Rideout with a limit of 25 people due to Covid restrictions. Please wear a mask and distance yourself. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a the Heatherton United Church Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
