Michael (Mickey) Howard MacDonald Heatherton, NL Feb. 19, 1960 – Feb. 11, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Michael MacDonald announce his passing after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 60 years. He will be forever missed and loved by his sister Nancy, his brother Louis (Madonna), as well as his niece Suzanne (Michael) & family, his nephews Louis & family, Paul (A-ok), Jonathan (Jordan) and Scotty as well as numerous other family members. He was pre-deceased by his Parents Michael and Isabel MacDonald, his brother Fintan, and his sister Charlene. Mickey was a long standing member of the community and always there to help out with the church and Heatherton Hall. Mickey loved life and supporting the dart leagues, both young and old. He was also a relentless Montreal Canadians Fan. Mickey will be missed by family and friends and remembered for contributing unselfishly to those in time of need. In keeping with Mickey’s wishes, cremation has taken place but due to Covid restrictions a Funeral Service will be held at a later date. Many thanks go out to the doctors, nurses & staff at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital as well as a special thank you to Eileen & Steve St. Croix and their family and to many others who supported Mickey with his illness.
