It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Broomfield announce his passing on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Olive, children: Jim, Amos, Elaine, Norman, Charles, Hayward, Anne, Walter and Paul, grandchildren: Natalie, Sheldon, Brad, Jason, Kim, Holly, Reed, Wesley and Sierra, great-granddaughter Meghan. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay on Tuesday, May 19th from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00 AM from the Pentecostal Church. Interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
