Obituary of Keith Thomas Rumbolt Keith Thomas Rumbolt July 23, 1969 - February 07, 2021 It is with tremendous sadness and grief that the family of the late Keith Thomas Rumbolt announce his accidental drowning at the age of 51 in Pleasure Harbour, near Lodge Bay, Labrador. He will be remembered forever by all who had the distinct honor to know him, especially the love of his life, his wife Cheryl-lynn nee: Pye his daughter Hailey (Christopher Hicks) his son Colin; his mother Barbara, Sisters: Nancy Normore (Bernard Cabot); Yvonne Rumbolt Jones (Joseph Lanzon); Sherry Rumbolt; brother Bradley Rumbolt (Andrea Cumby). His nephews and nieces, Aunts and Uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his father Lawrence Rumbolt and nephew Matthew Boynton. Anyone who had the privilege of meeting him or even stopping to say a simple hello, could see the extraordinary person he was and his ability to bring joy and happiness to their lives. Most times they walked away smiling knowing they had a friend forever. Keith was an Offshore Shrimp Fisherman for over 30 years with the MV Osprey Co. and the Labrador Fishermens Shrimp Co. He was the Mayor of Lodge Bay and firmer board member of the NunatuKavut Community Council, The Battle Harbour Development Association and the The Labrador Fishermens Union Shrimp Company. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Lodge Bay and Mary's Harbour volunteer fire department.
