It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Allan Cluney announce his passing at the Labrador Health Center in Happy Valley Goose Bay, February 18th, at the age of 83. He will be sadly missed by his Children; Ross (Renee Moores), Rhonda (Peter Darrah) Rodney (Florence Cluney) Naythan (Heather McLean), Donna, Danny; Brother Eric (Ad Cluney): Sisters Effie Roberts, Mrytle Robbins, Amy Young, Marjorie (Ron Dicks): Grandchildren Tyler, Shanelle, Teneisha, April, Eric, Marlee, Maddison and a very special friend Cindy Cooke, as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Labrador Health Center in Happy Valley Goose Bay for their unwavering care and compassion. Born in St. John’s NL, George moved to Happy Valley-Goose Bay in 1957 and made this place his home, never wanting to leave. He loved his family and friends, was willing to do anything for anyone. George was hard working, would lend a helping hand to anyone and always had a way to make you smile with a big kind heart. He lived his life following the quote “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”
