Gerald Maxwell Hillier

August 27, 1938 - February 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Maxwell Hillier announce his passing on February 26, 2021 at Labrador Grenfell Health, Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 82 years.  He will be sadly missed by his wife Edna. Children: Lynn Hillier, Peggy Lawless (Fulton), Gordon Hillier (Arlene) Barbara Stickley (Robert), Andy Hillier (Sherri), Jim Pottle (Rebecca). Grandchildren: Colette, Charlene, Samantha, Emma, Hilary, Shane, Ryan, Joanna, Theresa, Shawna, Melody, Tyler, Andrea, April, Ashley, Tara, Ashley.  Great Grandchildren: Kaylie, Ella, Lucas, Keira, Bentley, Blake, Chantel, Logan, Zack, Jorja, Monica, Jakob, Ella, Ethan, Madison, Braden, Josh, Colton, Jonathan, Reid, Hailey, Talea, Elyssa.

Brother:  Melvin Hillier (Audrey). Sister: Dulcie Powell (Dalton) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gladys Hillier. Brothers: Malcolm, Allen, Ernest, Eric, Bruce. Sisters: Blanche, Ivy, Bertha.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army on March 20 @ 10am with Major Kean officiating.  A celebration of Life will take place in Quirpon this summer with a date to follow.

As expressions of Sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Happy Valley Goose Bay.
