Cora "Marlene" Baker

April 22, 1957 - April 28, 2021

Pasadena, NL 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marlene Baker announce her passing on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Unit at the age of 64 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Gerald, children: Adam (Glenda) Baker, Corner Brook, Allison (Tim) MacGregor, Peterborough, ON, and Angela (Justin) Parsons, St. John's; five precious grandchildren: Robert, Leah, Pearl, Wesley and Nora. She is survived by her father, Woodrow Head, Norris Arm South, brothers and sisters: Dwayne (Telsie), Peter, Janice (Dexter), David (Frances), Neil and Bradley (Roxanne); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Predeceased by her mother, Pearl Head and brother Jeffrey Head.

Visitation will be held at Pasadena Pentecostal Church on Friday from 6-8 pm to a maximum of 50 people in compliance with Covid-19 Government regulations, masks and physical distancing required. The funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, May 1st at 11 Am  with Pastor William Cole officiating  to a maximun of 100 people . The interment will take place on Sunday at the Pentecostal cemetery, Norris Arm South. 

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Water to Water, a fundraiser started by Marlene's grandson, Robbie, which provides clean drinking water for children in Honduras.
