When I was District Operations Manager at Zellers I felt privileged to work with Brenda. From the very first time I met Brenda I immediately seen her kindness, thoughtfulness, sense of humor and radiating smile. As a leader her passion, dedicaton and work ethics were beyond measurable. During one of my visits to Cornerbrook Brenda and I were talking and I mentioned my love for lighthouses so when I went back to the store a few visits later Brenda gave me the most beautiful handpainted lighthouse wall hanging that she had a friend paint for me, it has hung in my kitchen since the day I brought it home, I will cherish it forever! Another time I mentioned I liked salt cod for my fishcakes so on my next visit she brought me salt cod that her Dad had prepared for me to fly back to Halifax with, she assured me that it would be safe to put it in my suitcase, there would be no odor because of the way it was wrapped, I was a little reluctant but I had complete trust in her, she was absolutely correct, I unpacked my suitcase and absolutely no smell. Both of these little stories represent the kindness Brenda displayed towards everyone she knew ❤.I want to send my sincere condolences to Brenda's family and friends and to everyone who had the privilege to know and love her . Heaven has been truly blessed with another angel . RIP my friend
