Dear Ron/Poppy, Bob, Melina, Bruce, Annette, Wayne, Debbie, Rhonda, Leonard and Families,
We were all so very sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. We have very fond memories of visiting Marie and Ron on Aspen Rd…….and of enjoying the many treats that Marie made. We also remember how very kind Marie and Ron were to my parents in long term care. Marie will be missed.

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Marie's passing. Though I had few opportunities to visit, when I was there she ensured that I felt like family and not a guest. As much as I treasure those few memories, I know you have many, many more to share and share again. I pray you will find comfort in sharing those memories and stories, through tears and smiles, and, in some small way, in knowing that many, many people share this grief with you. Ron, Leonard, Rhonda and Kevin,
We were saddened to hear of Marie's passing. On the two occasions that we spent a little time with the family, we came to know Marie as a wonderful wife to Ron, mother to Leonard and Rhonda, and our friend. Later she became a devoted grandmother to Kevin. Even in recent months when she was not well and we spoke to her on the phone, she was always upbeat and positive. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family during these difficult days. We trust that your precious memories will comfort you and that God will be with you.

I have very exciting memories of your family! Today I'm reminded of how I spent a few days with her as I was leaveing home to go to work in 1963. I felt her love for me! My husband, Dave and I have visited uncle Ron and aunt Marie many times.. We pray that God will come and comfort your family.

Uncle Ron, Bob, Bruce, Wayne, Rhonda and family,
My thoughts are with you at this time. When someone like Aunt Marie (the last one of Mom's family) passes away, the memories of my own childhood from long ago come flooding back. Until our family moved from Corner Brook to Grand Falls your family was a big part of our lives. She certainly was a great cook and baker and it was always a pleasure to visit your house! The first time I tasted cream puffs was at your house and I still remember how delicious they were!
i'm so thankful that my Betty and Dave, Ralph and I were able to visit her about 3 years ago.
I'm hoping and looking forward to a grand reunion in heaven some day! Won't that be something!
May God bless all of you. Wish I could be there to see you all again. I love you all.

We had the pleasure of caring for Marie here at Mountain View, although it was a short time that she spent with us her smile was contagious and it wasn’t long before everyone knew who she was. The kindness and compassion she’s shown to others even on her hardest of days is absolutely heartwarming. She loved her family more than anything and her husband Ronald was her world.
