Sorry for your loss. Mrs. Gosse, as she was always to me, taught me the importance of picking blueberries quick and clean so I wouldn’t have too much work to do with them when I got home! I have to say that it’s always the thought I have to this day whenever I’m out berry picking which is quite often…and I am “always” thankful for that very important piece of advice! My thoughts are with you all.

It is with a heavy heart that I read of your mom's passing this morning. Our family was blessed to have had the opportunity to spend many years enjoying your mom and dad's friendship at Birchy Lake. They both were a big part of a lifetime of great memories for my family. She will certainty be missed and fondly remembered.

To the Gosse Family, my heart is broken with the passing of Shirley, my condolences to the family. I gotten to know Shirley and David when I worked at Mountain View Retirement Centre, they were a joy to have there. David was a jolly man and loved his fun and Shirley adored him. She would always have a joke and a laugh with David. She was heart broken when David passed some few years ago.
Shirley was an Angel, her smile would lighten up any room she walked in. I was the Rec. Director when I worked there and spent some time with Shirley. She would never miss a church service, exercise class, any activity really Shirley was there. Her love was Bingo and dances. At the Bingo game she would always sit by me and ask, " Did Margie fix it all up for me"? I said you have no worries, Margie took care of everything. The dances, oh how she loved her dances and her smile said it all. Everyone loved Shirley, staff and Residents alike.
You will be missed very much by all. Now my friend, rest easy and spread those beautiful wings you so deserved. Don't worry, they have dances and bingo games in heaven for all residents. Rest in peace sweet lady, till we meet again. ❤️
