It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Gosse announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, Oct 24, 2021 at LTC home in Corner Brook. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Gretta (Foss Kendall), Joseph Gosse (Anne), Margie (Bill Loughlin), Janet (Larry Parsons), David Gosse (Susan); grandchildren Trent, Brent, Kent, James, Terry, Colleen, Emily, Ben, Donald, Laura, Erin, Max; great grandchildren Cody, Kyla, Allie, Desmond, Rose, Keira, Olivia, Bram and Scarlett; sisters-in-law, Jane White, Bridie Roche, Patricia Lacey, Helen Manning; Special friends Linda and Greg Spencer-Schroh, who were mom’s rocks and treated her like their own.  She was predeceased by her husband, Dave; parents Janet and Joseph Anstey; all her brother and sisters, Mick, Frank, Bob, Duncan, Audrey, Anne, Calvin and twin brother Doug.

Much appreciation to the staff of Mountain View Estates, Long Term Care and Dr. Boulas.  Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, for a visitation on Oct 28 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Oct 29. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be by invitation only. Masks and Vaccine Passports will be required upon entry to the building.
