I've written here twice today and posted both times I don't see my memories showing up so maybe I'm doing something wrong and maybe they will all show up at once what odds. Richard was a good friend of mine through high school and it's a shame to say we haven't seen much of each other since then. Richard, Myself and Brad Bennett became close friends quickly during the first few weeks of grade ten and before long I was heading down to Frenchmans cove on the weekends to spend time with the boys and a few of the girls we knew back then. Richard always welcomed me down with open arms and the memories we made over those few years of high school were some of the best I have. We always had a laugh with good music playing and good people all around. Life was different back then. A little easier, more care free and the days seemed to last forever, but as life goes on, time seems to be speeding up and does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Hearing of Richards's terrible accident has made me stop and thing and replay realize where the time has gone and to remember to enjoy the little things in life. I am sending all my love and my heart goes out to Richards Family, children and loved ones. Richard you will be missed and forever in my memories. RIP brother.
